Editors today need to have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to ensure that every piece published is truthful. Aaliyah Dasoo will take us through the fact-checking process and share practical strategies and tips to help editors develop this important skill.
About the Speaker
Aaliyah Dasoo is a Toronto-based journalist. She is currently an assistant editor at The Logic, where she focuses on fact-checking and copy editing. She has previously worked at The Walrus and The Globe and Mail, and her work has also appeared in Chatelaine, Canadian Business, and Bitch.
