Join Editors Toronto on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 7:00 pm EST via Zoom for “Editors and the New State of Media.”

As the industry evolves, journalists are adopting new practices and trying out ideas in the midst of rapidly changing market conditions. This fireside conversation looks at five major currents in media and how newsroom leaders are adapting to them:

  • traditional media to TikTok: the changing face of journalism,
  • trust and truth: fact-checking and the emerging ethics of reporting,
  • how the media makes money (or doesn’t),
  • the influence of artificial intelligence (AI), and
  • starting out and staying in: the basics of building your career.
