Join Editors Toronto on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 7:00 pm EDT via Zoom for “Plain Language Principles: A Fireside Chat.”

Words are powerful. They help us share ideas, deliver information, evoke emotions, sway opinions, and strengthen communities. But finding the right words can be challenging. How do you ensure they serve the message rather than muddle it?

Enter plain language.

In this session, plain language consultant Michelle Waitzman will discuss the principles of this internationally recognized communication methodology and the benefits of using it in both written and non-written mediums.

Plain language can have a positive impact on so many different aspects of our lives, including accessibility and inclusion, organizational health and development, and self-employment practices.

We encourage you to come to this session prepared with your questions!
