Join Editors Toronto on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 7:00 pm EDT via Zoom for “Beyond ChatGPT: Actually Useful AI for Writers & Editors,” a virtual workshop designed specifically for editors and writers who want to get practical about AI.
Many of us assumed generative AI would come for creative work last, but it’s already impacting nearly every type of creative professional, from actors to video producers.
There’s good news though: The biggest threat to writers and editors isn’t an “AI apocalypse” (probably). The real danger is the discomfort that deters us from learning how to use AI as a tool without sacrificing our standards or our craft.
In this workshop, Braveen will give participants the opportunity to investigate three main topics.
- You’ll explore actually useful AI tools (beyond ChatGPT) and how they can augment your day-to-day.
- You’ll get an interactive demo of AI-powered solutions to the most common problems we face in our line of work.
- You’ll learn practical ways to do more with less and unlearn some of the misconceptions about how to harness AI.
